Joakim Lord

Joakim Lord has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Joakim started their career in 2001 as a Software Engineer at Försvarets Forskningsinstitut (FOI). In 2002 they completed thesis work at SAAB Aerospace Future Products. Joakim then joined DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB) in 2003 as a Lead Programmer and Programmer. In 2011 they moved to EA as the Head of Development Frostbite Vancouver and Product Owner Animation & Cinematics, where they founded the Frostbite Vancouver team and hired the first 15 or so engineers & artists. In 2016 they returned to DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB) as a Senior Software Engineer. Since 2019, they have been the Developer & Co-Founder of Wild Games. Joakim is also the Owner of www.betapet.com.

Joakim Lord attended Linköping University from 1996 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering.
