Makalani Norman is a consulting utility forester with experience at Davey Resource Group, Inc. since December 2019, and serves as a customer service specialist at Wildberries Marketplace since October 2016. Additionally, Makalani has been a student researcher at Tomescu Lab Group since 2014, focusing on plant biology and the fossil record to explore plant evolution and diversity. Previous roles include caregiver and medical technician at Timber Ridge Assisted Living, a research assistant at Tick Research Lab, and a rare and invasive plant intern at Redwood National and State Parks. Makalani holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Humboldt State University, earned in 2016.
