Consultant, Startup Mentor at Wildcard Incubator

Enlai is a seasoned entrepreneur, creator and technologist with over 20 years of experience in messaging, voice and video communications. He is currently the founder and CEO at Phoneic, a startup that is upgrading cell phone calls with new features and application integrations that automate mobile workflows.

Prior to Phoneic, he co-founded group SMS and virtual number company 3jam, which was acquired by Skype in 2011. At Skype, he ran the company's SMS and core messaging teams.

Named the Forbes Future Capitalist in 2003, he is also a Co-Founder at Silicon Valley Canada, a company that helps U.S. startups set up engineering offices and hire talented developers in Vancouver, Canada. He was served as U.S. mentor for BEYOND, a program mentoring Japanese startups and mid-cap businesses from Aichi Prefecture/Nagoya City to tap into the U.S. markets.

Enlai earned his BASc in Electrical Engineering with Computer Engineering Option at The University of British Columbia. He then earned his MBA from Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
