Luke Bockman has a diverse range of work experience. Luke started their career as an Independent Software Contractor at Mekilect LLC in 2013, where they created a web-based PHP program to enhance business productivity. In 2014, they worked as a CNC Machine Programmer Intern at Mekilect LLC, utilizing SolidWorks and HSMworks to create CNC mill and lathe programs.

In 2015, Luke served as a Machine Shop Tutor at the UCSD MAE Department, assisting students in fabrication projects. Luke also interned as a Mechanical Engineer at Etaluma, Inc., designing components for an automated fluorescence microscope.

Luke joined HP in 2016 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, focusing on lamp exhaust system research for 3D printers. Luke continued their journey with HP in various roles, including Research and Development Mechanical Engineer and Print Quality Infrastructure Program Manager and Architect, where they played a vital role in developing and improving HP's Multi Jet Fusion full spectrum color functional 3D printer.

In 2021, Luke joined Aptera Motors as the Head of Battery Systems, overseeing the development and optimization of battery systems. Currently, they work as an Engineer at Wildcat Discovery Technologies.

Luke Bockman attended the University of California, San Diego from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In October 2020, they obtained a certification as an Explorer from HP.
