Research Technician III at Wildcat Discovery Technologies

Marielle Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to the present. Currently, they work as a Research Technician III at Wildcat Discovery Technologies, where their role involves working on the synthesis of novel battery electrodes and slurry development for larger-scale cells. Prior to this, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, where they worked on designing automated movement using Arduino. During their time at the University of Colorado Boulder, they were an REU Intern and analyzed Cassini UVIS data to identify patterns in Titan's Airglow. Before that, they served as a PEER MENTOR & LEARNING ASSISTANT at the San Diego Community College District, and as an Assistant Manager and Notary at The UPS Store. Marielle also gained experience as a Creative and Marketing Intern at Amaliah, where they created written and fashion content and researched suitable content for the website.

Marielle Cooper completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at UC Santa Barbara from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they studied Chemistry at San Diego Miramar College from 2017 to 2019, although they did not receive a degree during this time. Their education began in 2013 when they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology at UCL, which they successfully completed in 2016.
