Software Engineer II at Wildcat Discovery Technologies

Mikael Olezeski has worked in a variety of roles in the field of chemistry since 2012. Mikael began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, where they conducted research on metal complexes for use as catalysts for artificial photosynthesis. Mikael then moved on to work as a Chemical Technician at Lumisyn, where they researched, synthesized, and analyzed indium phosphide quantum dots and all precursor material. In 2015, they began working at Celgard as a Product Development Technician, where they performed R&D for Li-ion battery applications, oversaw the development of more than 20 developmental separators, and created and optimized Sticky Separator Test for developmental coated product. Finally, since 2018 they have worked at Wildcat Discovery Technologies as a Software Engineer and Research Associate, where they have performed high throughput lithium-ion battery research, overseen a group of technicians, and conducted internal research on novel concepts including electrolyte development and material discovery.

Mikael Olezeski attended the University of Rochester from 2009 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, cum laude.
