Steven Ortiz

Steven Ortiz has been working in various roles since 2008. Steven began their career as an Airframe Mechanic for the United States Marine Corps in 2008. In 2015, they worked as a Lab Intern for the University of California San Diego. In 2018, they were an Academic Coach for Helix Charter High School. From 2019 to 2021, Steven Ortiz worked as a Peer Navigator for the UC San Diego SVRC. Most recently, they have been employed as a Laboratory Technician for Wildcat Discovery Technologies since 2021.

Steven Ortiz began their educational journey at Chaminade University of Honolulu in 2012, though they did not receive a degree from the institution. Steven then attended San Diego Mesa College from 2014-2018, earning an Associate's degree in Mathematics. Finally, they attended UC San Diego from 2018-2020, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
