Courtney Clark has held a variety of roles in the past 19 years. In 2002, they were a Sales and Marketing Assistant and Studio Manager for Emily Andrews Portrait Design, where they worked with a graphic designer to create email marketing plans and create print media, as well as constantly updating the social media site and website. In 2006, they were a Fund Raiser for the OSU Foundation, and in 2007 they were an Advertising Sales Representative for the OSU Barometer, where they built relationships with local business owners in order to sell advertisements and received Top Seller and Advertising Representative of the Year Awards. In 2009, they were a Shoe Department Manager at Nordstrom, where they focused on achieving volume and productivity goals, ensured visual merchandising standards, and coached salespeople to exceed sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. From 2013 to 2020, they worked for the American Cancer Society, where they held three roles: Senior Program Manager, Program Manager, and Senior Coordinator of Event Support. In 2018, they started their own business, Courtney Clark Creative, as a Graphic Designer. In 2021, they began working as a Freelance Graphic Designer for KEO Marketing Inc., creating branded marketing materials for marketing firm clients.

Courtney Clark attended Oregon State University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Consumer Merchandising/Retailing Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Minor in Visual Arts with a focus in Painting.
