Vanessa Miller (She/Her) has over 17 years of professional experience in the advertising and consulting industries. Vanessa began their career in 2004 as a Business Analyst for Deloitte Consulting, where they worked on developing new business proposals, strategic POVs, industry overviews and case studies across Media & Entertainment, Healthcare, Finance and Government sectors. In 2006, they moved to Brokaw Inc. as an Assistant Account Executive and then Account Executive, where they planned and executed integrated advertising campaigns across a number of accounts.
In 2008, Vanessa joined Wieden + Kennedy as a Brand Executive for Nike Running. Vanessa then moved up to Brand Manager and then Brand Director for Nike North America, where they led initiatives across Nike Running and Womenβs Training categories, as well as numerous Brand, Cross-Category, Retail and Sustainability efforts. Vanessa also led the TurboTax account in its first few years at W+K and repositioned the brand and redefined the category itself. In 2017, Vanessa became Group Brand Director for Fisher-Price, HP, Autodesk, Vrbo, Hotels.com, and Global Brand Director for Amazon Music.
In addition to their full-time roles, Vanessa has also held a freelance writer and strategic consultant role at Wildfang.com since 2012 and a Mentor role at VCU Camp ADventure since 2021.
Vanessa Miller graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Communication (Double Major). Prior to that, they attended Newark High School.
