Dan Reinis

Dan Reinis is an experienced outdoor guide and facilitator with a background in parks, recreation, and leisure studies from Radford University. Currently serving as a guide at The Wildland Trekking Company since February 2016, Dan specializes in leading backpacking trips in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Previous roles include a photography sales specialist at Lifetouch, rental technician at Ski and Sports Station, retail sales associate at Great Outdoor Provision Co., and wilderness trip leader at Wilderness Ventures, where Dan co-led a range of mountaineering and backpacking expeditions. Additional experience includes working as a lift operator at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and field staff roles with SOAR and RU A.B.L.E., showcasing a diverse skill set in outdoor education, safety, and customer service.
