Rachel Brennan

Rachel Brennan is a skilled outdoor education professional currently serving as a Backpacking and Hiking Guide at The Wildland Trekking Company since June 2023. Rachel's experience includes roles such as Graduate Student and Field Instructor at IslandWood, where involvement in a residential outdoor education program focused on primary students took place from August 2022 to July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Trip Leader for Adventure Treks, leading expeditions for middle and high school students, and holding various instructional positions at Keystone Science School. Additionally, Rachel has a background in retail as a Stockroom Lead at CU Bookstore and conducted research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Emery Lab CU Boulder. Education includes a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado.
