Tommy Smith

Tommy Smith is an experienced outdoor educator and guide currently serving as an Outdoor Educator at Kanuga Camps & Conferences, where instruction focuses on science and high adventure classes for students in grades 4 through 8. Prior to this role, Tommy guided multi-day and day hiking trips for The Wildland Trekking Company. A background in environmental conservation includes work with the Southwest Conservation Corps, focused on data collection and ecological monitoring. Additional experience includes roles in GIS and remote sensing, advanced transportation analysis, and research at prestigious institutions such as NASA and Clark University, culminating in a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography.
