Alan J Ring

Alan J Ring has extensive experience in grants management and compliance, currently serving as the Executive Director of Grants Management and Compliance at the Wildlife Conservation Society since December 2022. Prior to this role, Alan was the Senior Director of Compliance and Grants at the Center for Reproductive Rights from December 2019 to November 2022, and held the position of Senior Director of Compliance and Policy at the International Rescue Committee from September 2017 to November 2019. Alan's background also includes serving as the Director of Grants & Contracts at the Population Council, where responsibilities included managing over $70 million in annual international donor projects and developing new business proposals. Alan began the career as the Associate Director of the Social Change Group at the Academy for Educational Development from April 1994 to January 2004. Alan holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1985 and 1989.
