Emily Long

Emily Long is an experienced professional in marine conservation and animal care, currently serving as a Program Assistant at the Wildlife Conservation Society since April 2018, where tasks include processing donations and performing operational duties. Previous roles include Wild Animal Keeper, where humane animal care and diet preparation were emphasized, as well as an Associate Wild Animal Keeper at Adventure Aquarium, facilitating interactive guest experiences. Additional experience includes internships focused on animal care at the Philadelphia Zoo and Lehigh Valley Zoo. Emily holds a Master's Degree in Urban Planning with a concentration in Environmental Futures and Sustainability from Hunter College and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Dance from Muhlenberg College.
