Erik Saudan

Erik Saudan is a seasoned professional in wildlife conservation and law enforcement, currently serving as a Law Enforcement Advisor at the Wildlife Conservation Society since August 2022. Previously, Erik held the position of Senior Advisor at Virunga National Park from August 2016 to August 2022, where responsibilities included coordinating actions against armed groups and poaching, supervising a local radio operational center, and ensuring the physical and operational readiness of park Rangers. Prior to this, Erik worked as a Training Coordinator at GFA Consulting Group GmbH for a brief period in early 2016, focusing on training military and eco-guard personnel in anti-poaching tactics and combat shooting. Erik's extensive experience in conservation and defense dates back to over two decades with the French Ministry of Defense, from October 1987 to October 2009.
