Haqiq Rahmani

Haqiq Rahmani is a conservation ecologist at the Wildlife Conservation Society since November 2022, with a strong background in wildlife ecology and geographic information systems. Haqiq completed a Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida, where the role as a postdoctoral researcher involved analyzing acoustic telemetry data to study fish distribution and habitat use. Previous positions include teaching assistant at the University of Florida, GIS consultant and manager for the Wildlife Conservation Society, and geospatial information technology specialist at the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, among others. Haqiq's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Graduate School of Management and Computer Science.
