Jelle Boot's work experience begins in 1987, when they worked at Philips as an HR Manager. Jelle then moved on to The Coca-Cola Company in 1993, where they served as an HR Director until 1999. Following that, Jelle joined Citigroup Inc. as a Director of Human Resources from 1999 to 2009. In 2009, they joined MetLife as a VP of HR and HRD, handling HR Integration for MetLife/ALICO in various regions. From 2012 to 2016, Jelle worked at the International Rescue Committee, starting as a Senior Director of Global Human Resources and eventually serving as Interim Chief HR Officer. Jelle'smost recent role was at the Wildlife Conservation Society, where they held the position of Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer starting in September 2016.

Jelle Boot obtained a Masters degree in Sociology, specializing in Labor relations and Organization development, from the State University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Jelle completed their education at this institution from 1981 to 1987.
