Leela Samaroo has extensive experience in animal care, particularly in ornithology, serving as a Wild Animal Keeper in the Ornithology Department at the Wildlife Conservation Society since May 2014. Responsibilities include conducting daily routines, observing bird health, administering treatments, and hand-rearing various chick species. Prior roles include Animal Care Manager at the Wild Bird Fund, providing critical care for avian patients, and a Part-Time Nursery Caregiver at the ASPCA, focusing on neonatal kittens.
