Leonardo Güiza is an accomplished academic and legal consultant specializing in mining and environmental law. Since June 2011, Leonardo has served as the Director of the Center for Innovation in Mining and the Environment (CIMA) and as a Full Professor at Universidad del Rosario, teaching various courses related to environmental responsibility, mining law, and human rights. In addition to academic roles, Leonardo has provided legal consultancy for several organizations, including the Wildlife Conservation Society and the United Nations, focusing on wildlife trafficking and environmental justice.
