Stephen Obermeier is a Partner in the Litigation and Appellate Practice at Wiley Rein LLP, where since May 2013, representation includes handling high-profile international cases involving the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) and civil RICO, as well as defending a mutual bank against a hostile takeover in federal court. Prior to this role, Stephen served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia from December 2010 to April 2013, and as an attorney at Wiley Rein LLP from October 2007 to November 2010. Stephen also gained experience as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Karen LeCraft Henderson at the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit from August 2006 to July 2007. Stephen holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and an A.B. in Economics, Cum Laude, from Princeton University.
