Vesna Harasic-Yaksic

Vesna Harasic-Yaksic serves as a Partner in White Collar Defense and Government Investigations at Wiley Rein LLP since October 2017. Prior to this role, Vesna worked as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from September 2015 to October 2017, where significant focus was given to prosecuting federal money laundering crimes and managing civil forfeiture matters. Additionally, Vesna has experience as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in two detailees, representing the United States in various civil forfeiture cases and prosecuting federal crimes. Early career positions include a Summer Honors Internship at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a Criminal Intern Investigator role at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Vesna holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Government from Cornell University.
