Amarachi Okpalugo

Amarachi Okpalugo is currently an Events Associate for the Black Students of Lazaridis, collaborating with a team to organize events that foster community and inclusivity. Concurrently, Amarachi serves as a Residence Life Don at Wilfrid Laurier University, mentoring students and promoting a respectful environment. Previous experience includes roles such as Annual Giving Supervisor and Annual Giving Representative, where responsibilities included coaching call center staff and engaging donors, successfully securing significant funding. Additionally, Amarachi contributed as a Sponsorship Committee Volunteer for the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada and served as Director of Events for Mock Trial Laurier, managing networking events and competition logistics. Amarachi is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, expected to graduate in April 2027.
