Carleen Carroll

Carleen Carroll, APR, FCPRS, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of External Relations at Wilfrid Laurier University, a position held since February 2019. Previous roles include Director of Communications and Engagement at Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network from November 2017 to February 2019, and Associate Vice President of Communications at the University of Waterloo from June 2016 to November 2017. Carleen has also held significant positions such as Director of Corporate Communications at Metrolinx, and Director of Strategic Communications at Halton Region, where a comprehensive brand strategy was developed. Earlier career experiences include roles at TD Canada Trust, Rogers Group of Companies, Hill and Knowlton, and serving as a Legislative Assistant to the Hon. Flora MacDonald. Carleen holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Western University and a Bachelor's degree in English from McGill University.
