Jamie Carlson has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic therapy. They started their career as an Athletic Therapist at CATA in 1989 and later held positions at Sheridan College as a Clinic Coordinator from 1990 to 1992. From 1992 to 1993, they worked as an Athletic Therapist for the Vancouver Canucks. They then joined Wilfrid Laurier University as the Head Athletic Therapist in 1993. Additionally, Jamie held the position of Athletic Therapist at Swim Canada from 1997 to 2007. Overall, Jamie has over 30 years of experience in the athletic therapy field.

Jamie Carlson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from the University of Guelph, where they studied from 1980 to 1986. They later attended Sheridan College from 1987 to 1989, obtaining a Diploma in Sports Injury Management with a focus on Athletic Therapy.
