Deborah Chielli

Deborah Chielli currently serves as the Director of Membership & Community Engagement at Rochester Lifestyle Medicine Institute, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to advance the organization's mission and programming. In addition to this role, Deborah is an adjunct faculty member in the MS-Nursing program at Wilkes University. Previous experience includes working as a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner at DIGESTIVE DISEASE SOLUTIONS, LLC, specializing in various gastrointestinal conditions, and serving as a Primary Care Adult-Gero Nurse Practitioner for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where lifestyle medicine was integrated into patient care. Contributions to the nursing field include serving as a Contributing Author and Editorial Advisor for a nursing textbook on Lifestyle Nursing. Deborah holds a Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner Adult-Gerontology Primary Care from Wilkes University and a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University and a degree in Medical Dietetics from Penn State University.
