Elaine Bottomley

Elaine Bottomley currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Will County Executive since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Transportation at the Will County Governmental League, where responsibilities encompassed managing transportation program funding, securing grant funding, and promoting transportation priorities, as well as serving as Program Coordinator. Earlier internships at the Village of Franklin Park, Will County Land Use Department, City of Joliet, and various organizations focused on urban planning, community development, and sustainable practices. Elaine Bottomley holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
