As the General Manager for William Buck New Zealand, Kim’s role is to enable the people to do their best work with passionate leadership, effective strategy and efficient operations.

Her team manages key operational functions including finance, people and culture, marketing and business development, IT, property, general and technical administration.

Prior to taking on the General Manager role, Kim’s passion for enabling people to do their best work saw her in various Human Resource roles within a number of industries, including fast moving consumer goods and professional services.

Her expertise and enjoyment of business, strategy and people allow her to develop pragmatic solutions to whatever problem needs to be resolved or opportunity needs to be realised. A strategic bent means Kim considers the long term and seeks to understand the big picture when formulating a recommendation and action plan.

Enjoyment and purpose in a job get people excited to come to work. Making sure they have the tools to do a great job amplifies their performance. Nothing satisfies her more than seeing signals the business and individuals she is working with are on the right path to achieving their goals.
