Karl Koeppen Pla

Karl Koeppen, PLA, is a seasoned landscape architect and designer currently serving as a Senior Designer and Landscape Architect at William H. Smith and Associates, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to this role, Karl owned and operated Koeppen Landscape Solutions as an independent business owner. Experiences include positions as Senior Landscape Architect and Senior Civil 3D Engineering Designer at HECO Engineers, and as a Senior Landscape Architect and Civil Engineering Designer at Ward Engineering Group. Initial experiences in the field include serving as an Irrigation Technician at Tuck Landscaping and as a Landscape Architect at Aspen Resource Consultants. Karl Koeppen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University and has earned various degrees, including computer-aided drafting and general studies, from ITT Technical Institute-Murray and Brigham Young University - Idaho.
