Caitlin Saylor Stephens has an extensive work experience in the field of writing and theater. Caitlin Saylor served as a Writer-in-Residence at Lincoln Center Theater starting from August 2019. Caitlin Saylor was also a recipient of the NYC Women's Fund for Media, Music and Theater grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) in March 2022. Additionally, they worked as an EST/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Playwright at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation from November 2021. Caitlin was also recognized as a 2022 NYSCA Individual Artist - Theater Artist by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) from January 2022. In the past, they worked as a Playwright/TV Writer at WME (William Morris Endeavor) starting from May 2008 and served as an Affiliated Artist at New Georges since September 2013. Caitlin Saylor contributed to the CDF Advisory Committee at the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs from June to August 2022. Caitlin received the Grantee award from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts in November-December 2021. Additionally, they were a recipient of the 2018 Borscht Film Festival grant from The Borscht Corporation from September 2018 to September 2019. Lastly, they worked as a Producer at The Tank NYC from September to December 2018.

Caitlin Saylor Stephens completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre at Sarah Lawrence College from 2004 to 2008. In 2006 and 2007, they participated in a study abroad program at the British American Dramatic Academy, focusing on Theatre/Theater. Prior to attending college, from 2002 to 2004, Caitlin studied Dance at the Martha Graham School for Contemporary Dance.
