Babita Chadda

Babita Chadda has extensive experience in anesthesia and respiratory therapy, currently serving as an Anesthesia Assistant at William Osler Health System since August 1999. In this role, Babita manages nerve block procedure rooms, oversees anesthesia workstations, collaborates with leadership and biomedical engineering, enforces safety practices, ensures standardization, and is responsible for the procurement of anesthesia equipment. Additionally, Babita teaches respiratory therapists, paramedics, and medical learners while onboarding new anesthesia assistants and anesthesiologists. Previous roles include serving as an Operating Room Respiratory Therapist and a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Trillium Health Partners and The Wellsley Hospital. Babita holds a Certificate in Anesthesia Assistance and a degree in Respiratory Care Therapy from The Michener Institute of Education at UHN, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from McMaster University.
