Community Projects Officer at Willoughby City Council

Tracey Walker has a diverse work experience history. Tracey is currently working as the Co-Chair at the Lower North Shore Domestic Violence Network since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the Willoughby City Council for 9 years, starting in March 2011. At the council, they held two roles - as a Community Projects Officer since October 2018 and as a Children's Services Administration Officer from March 2011 to October 2018. Before their time at the council, they worked at the Banksia Cottage Long Day Care Centre as an Assistant Director and Room Leader from March 2003 to October 2008.

Tracey Walker earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree from Charles Sturt University, which they attended from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma of Children's Services at TAFE NSW from 2004 to 2005, as well as a Certificate 3 in Children's Services at TAFE NSW in 2003. Tracey also obtained their HSC from Gilroy College between 1992 and 1997. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including a Grant Writing Course: Writing a Winning Grant Application from the Centre for Continuing Education in April 2021, a Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia in October 2021, and a Working with Children Check from the Office of the Children's Guardian in September 2017.
