Eric Himes

Eric Himes serves as the Director of Operations - Arts & Worship at Willow Creek Community Church since October 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating the vision and execution of the Central Arts & Worship department across seven campuses. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Divisional Director of Music & Creative Arts for The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division, leading music and creative arts for 35 facilities and launching the Amplify Creative Arts Community. With extensive experience within The Salvation Army USA Central Territory, Eric was the Territorial Director of Young Adult and Worship Arts Ministries, spearheading initiatives for young adults across multiple states and overseeing The Singing Company, the first sponsored worship band. Earlier career highlights include serving as the Divisional Director of Youth Evangelism and Discipleship, where Eric developed innovative youth programs. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Wheaton College and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from DePaul University.
