Karein Directo

Karein Directo has a diverse range of work experience in software development and engineering roles. Starting in 2011, Karein worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Nokia. After that, Karein advanced to become an R&D Engineer 2, where they conducted trainings, developed and maintained legacy features, and implemented new features. In 2015, Karein was promoted to R&D Engineer 3, where they worked on various projects, including enabling HDBDE for 5G pre-commercial trial and resolving high-ranking customer issues. In 2020, Karein joined Canon Business Service Centre Philippines as a Software Developer, working on the Snare Solutions platform. In 2021, Karein worked as a Barista at Starbucks, before transitioning to Loadlink Technologies in 2022 as a Full Stack Developer. Most recently, Karein joined Willowglen Systems in 2023 as an Intermediate Software Developer.

Karein Directo completed their educational journey with various degrees and certifications. Karein obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Software and Database Development from Lambton College between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines from 2006 to 2013. Additionally, they acquired a Certificate in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Global Culinary & Hospitality Academy in the year 2020.

Moreover, Karein Directo obtained two additional certifications. In 2015, they earned the Purple Belt Certification from Nokia Networks. Karein also obtained the Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2019.
