Suzanne Beers, MS, CAP®, CFRE, currently serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Director of Major Gifts at Wills Eye Hospital since August 2020. Previously, Suzanne held the Director of Development position at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Health and the Fox Chase Cancer Center, where responsibilities included major gift fundraising for various clinical programs. Early career experiences include roles as a Special Events Coordinator and Grant Writer at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, and Development Manager for the Philadelphia Orchestra. Suzanne holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Rowan University in Communications and Music, a Master of Science in Nonprofit Arts Administration from Drexel University, and has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation from The American College of Financial Services.
