Amanda McKay

Amanda McKay currently serves as the District Director for the Greene Soil & Water Conservation District since August 2015, where responsibilities include guiding staff and community efforts to conserve natural resources. In addition, Amanda has been an Adjunct Professor of Agriculture at Wilmington College (OH) since January 2021 and holds a position as a Notary Public for Clinton County. Amanda has extensive experience in elections management as a Multiple Precinct Voting Location Manager for the Clinton County Board of Elections. Previous roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech from June 2013 to July 2015, a Groundskeeper at Wilmington Elks 797 Golf Course, and various positions related to agronomy and energy during internships with GROWMARK, Inc. and Land O'Lakes. Education includes a Master's of Science in Plant, Soil and Environmental Sciences from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's of Science in Agronomy/History from Wilmington College (OH).
