North Carolina's Premier Addiction Recovery Hospital Wilmington Treatment Center is a renowned and respected provider of comprehensive treatment services for adult men and women, ages 18 and above, who have been struggling with substance abuse, chemical dependency, and a variety of co-occurring mental health disorders. The program’s main location is a 139-bed residential treatment center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington Treatment Center also operates two outpatient treatment centers, one in Wilmington and one in Raleigh, NC. Men and women who heal at Wilmington Treatment Center may receive care at one or more of the following levels: • Inpatient detoxification • Inpatient rehabilitation • Partial hospitalization program (PHP) with boarding • Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) The inpatient treatment program features several specialized groups and treatment tracks, including Operation Recovery, which provides comprehensive care for active-duty military members, veterans, and first responders such as police officers, emergency medical technicians, and firefighters. Depending upon the components of the individual’s personalized treatment plan, his or her multidisciplinary treatment team may include an ASAM-certified medical director, registered nurses, physicians assistants, other licensed clinicians, certified substance abuse counselors, a licensed recreational therapist, a licensed certified marriage and family therapist, a certified art therapist, and other professionals as needed.
