Mark Lakin

Mark Lakin is a legal professional with extensive experience in financial services and financial restructuring. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Wilshire since December 2023, Lakin previously held the role of Senior Counsel at Lyxor Asset Management from August 2021 to December 2023. Prior experience includes positions as Managing Counsel and Senior Counsel at BNY Mellon from May 2016 to August 2021, and Vice President / U.S. Counsel at Rabobank from November 2012 to May 2016. Lakin's career began at Deutsche Bank AG as a Global Markets Attorney, followed by an Associate role at Cadwalader Wickersham and Taft. Early legal experience includes internships at the United States Attorney's Office and the New York County District Attorney's Office, as well as a position as ECAB Paralegal. Lakin holds a JD from New York Law School and a BA in International Business and Finance from Bradley University.
