Don Pelgrim has had a long and varied career in the finance and legal industries. Don began their career in 2003 as an attorney for Rutan & Tucker, LLP. In 2004, they became the Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer for Vineyard Bank / Vineyard National Bancorp. In 2010, they took on the same role for Opportunity Bank / Opportunity Bancorp. In 2011, they became the CEO & Fund Manager for Wilshire Finance Partners, a portfolio lender and manager of the WFP Income Fund, LLC, WFP Income Fund REIT, and the WFP Opportunity Fund, LLC. Don also served as the CEO of Capital West, Inc. from 2002.

Don Pelgrim obtained their JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1999, and their BBA in Management from Hofstra University in 1984. Don also holds a Finance Lenders License from the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, which they obtained in 2019, 2013, and 2013. Additionally, they hold a Law License from the State Bar of California, obtained in 1999, a Real Estate Broker - Broker Of Rec, Off, Partnership & Corp from the California Department of Real Estate, obtained in 1993, and a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent from the California Department of Real Estate, obtained in 1986.
