Christopher Kuner

Senior Privacy Counsel at Wilson Sonsini

Christopher Kuner currently serves as Senior Privacy Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati and holds positions as an Affiliated Professor at the University of Copenhagen and Senior Fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum. Since 2017, Kuner has been a member of the European Commission Multisectoral Stakeholder Expert Group on the GDPR. Kuner is also the Editor in Chief of International Data Privacy Law at Oxford University Press, a role that includes founding the legal periodical. Additionally, Kuner has held various academic roles, including Honorary Fellow at the University of Cambridge and Visiting Fellow at Maastricht European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity, and has previously served as Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Brussels Privacy Hub. Kuner's educational background includes a PhD from Tilburg University, an LLM from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, and a B.A. in Classics from Lawrence University.
