Danica S. You

Danica S. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various legal and management roles. Danica S. is currently the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget as the Chief EEO and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, where they developed and implemented diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies for the agency, and ensured compliance with EEO laws from 2021 to 2023. From 2012 to 2021, they held multiple roles at the New York City Campaign Finance Board, including Senior Counsel and EEO Officer, Senior Associate Counsel, and Associate Counsel, where they enforced campaign finance laws, advised on employment policies, and mediated workplace conflicts. Danica S. also gained experience as an Associate at Reed Smith LLP, conducting FCPA investigations and litigation, and as an Associate Counsel at Anderson Kill, and as a Full-time Extern at the New York County Supreme Court. Danica S. started their career as a Legislative Aide at the Washington State Legislature, where they focused on education and civil rights legislation. Danica S. has a strong background in law, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and management.

Danica S. completed their Juris Doctor degree at Cornell Law School from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree at the University of Washington from 1998 to 2002. Danica S. also holds additional certifications including SHRM - Certified Professional from SHRM, and they have been admitted to the Bar of New York State and the Bar of the Southern District of New York.
