Jon Metcalf

Jon Metcalf has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jon is currently the Director of Data Science and IT Applications at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Marketing Technology at Fenwick & West LLP from December 2012 to December 2019.

In 2008, Jon founded Metcalf Marketing, Inc. where they worked as a Marketing Technology Consultant until December 2012. Jon provided strategic and technical marketing consulting services, specializing in website and blog development, online marketing strategies, SEO, CRM, analytics, market research, BI, and marketing automation.

Before starting their consultancy, Jon served as a Board Member at Legal Marketing Association from January 2008 to December 2010. Jon also gained experience as a Marketing Manager at Littler Mendelson from July 2003 to December 2007.

Jon's career started in 1996 when they co-founded A+ Computer Solutions, where they worked until June 2003. Prior to that, they served as an Associate at Jackson & Wallace from 1993 to 1996. Jon'searly career includes a role as a Project Manager / Systems Analyst at Autodesk from January 1988 to August 1992.

Jon Metcalf earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Studies from UC Santa Barbara in the years 1980 to 1984. Jon later pursued an MBA in Information Systems at San Francisco State University from 1986 to 1990. Finally, they attended Santa Clara University School of Law from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
