Paul Mikulencak

Paul Mikulencak has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product design. Paul has worked as a Senior Product Designer at Wilsonart since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Baylor University as a Lead Product Designer from 2021 to 2023, where they led a team in commercializing technologies and creating a company around them. From 2019 to 2021, Paul served as a Product Design Development Manager at L3Harris Technologies, leading a team in developing the design for a 747-8. Before that, they worked at Wilsonart as the Lead Product Designer for slab products from 2017 to 2019, overseeing all aspects of product design and collaborating with international suppliers. From 2011 to 2017, Paul was the Chief Designer at L3 Technologies, managing a team in developing the design for a 747-8. Paul also has experience as the Supervisor of Conceptual Design at Gore Design from 2006 to 2009 and as a Lead Designer at Teague from 2001 to 2006, where they worked on creating new flight concepts and interfaces.

Paul Mikulencak obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the ArtCenter College of Design, where they attended from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degree, Paul has also earned several certifications from LinkedIn. These include certifications in Building a Product from Scratch, Learning Design Research, Design Thinking: Venture Design, Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap, UX Design: 1 Overview, and Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization. Paul obtained these certifications between May 2022 and February 2023.
