Mags Patten

Mags is the Executive Director of Public Policy and Communication for Arts Council England. She leads the delivery of the Arts Council’s fourth strategic goal: ensuring the leadership and workforce in the arts, museums and libraries are diverse and appropriately skilled. She is also responsible for work in areas of public policy including health and wellbeing, criminal justice and socio-economic disadvantage. Mags leads on communication between the Arts Council and its broad range of stakeholders which includes the public, government and the cultural sector. She manages teams responsible for customer services, digital communication and marketing, internal communication, media relations and stakeholder engagement.
