Kim-Eng Ky has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Kim-Eng is currently serving as an Alumni Board Member at Macalester College. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Kim-Eng also has experience as the Founder and Co-Organizer of WiMLDS Twin Cities, a women-focused organization in machine learning and data science. Kim-Eng Ky has also worked as a Principal Data Scientist and a Senior Data Scientist at UnitedHealth Group. Kim-Eng gained valuable experience as a Data Scientist at Metro Transit, where they received an Employee Recognition Award for their exceptional work in analytics. Kim-Eng has also contributed to the development of R Shiny applications and performed various data analysis tasks using clustering and Bayesian regression techniques. Kim-Eng Ky has also worked as a Research Analyst at The Brattle Group and a Research Analyst Intern at Metro Transit. Additionally, they have served as a Teaching Assistant and a member of the Data Science TRAIn Lab at Macalester College. Kim-Eng has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Economics Department of Macalester College and as a Remote Research Assistant Intern at The World Bank.

Kim-Eng Ky is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Statistics at the University of Minnesota, with an expected completion date in 2022. Prior to this, Kim-Eng obtained a Bachelor's degree from Macalester College in 2016, majoring in Economics with a combination of Applied Math and Statistics as well as Computer Science. Kim-Eng also attended UWC Red Cross Nordic from 2010 to 2012 and earned an International Baccalaureate.
