Michelle Lazebnik has had a diverse and successful career in the real estate industry. Michelle began their journey as a Real Estate Investor Associate at KEY BANK REAL ESTATE CAPITAL, where they worked from 2002 to 2003. Following this, they joined RBC TAX CREDIT EQUITY GROUP (formerly Apollo Housing) as an Assistant VP Asset Manager from 2003 to 2006. In this role, they managed a portfolio of over 40 tax credit properties and played a key role in investor reporting and marketing activities.
In 2006, Michelle moved on to Centerline Capital Group, where they served as a Real Estate Acquisition Associate until 2008. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in analyzing models, market studies, and comparable properties for new acquisitions.
From 2008 to 2010, Michelle worked at Elan Real Estate Management as a Senior Asset Manager. Michelle successfully managed a portfolio of over 1,200 apartments across different locations and was responsible for developing strategies to optimize financial performance.
Most recently, Michelle joined Wimmer Communities in 2011 and held the position of Vice President of Property Management until 2021. Michelle then advanced to the role of Senior Vice President of Operations, a position they currently hold.
Michelle Lazebnik earned a Dual B.S degree in Marketing and Banking/Finance, with a concentration in Business Administration and Finance, from Boston University between 1998 and 2002. Later, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Finance/Investment Banking at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, completing it from 2003 to 2005.
