Quality Assurance Analyst (VR Gaming)

Location: Austin, TX

WIN Reality has an exciting opportunity within our Quality Assurance Team in Austin, TX!

WIN Reality is a highly collaborative team focused on creating high-end experiences that allow athletes and coaches to virtually train, analyze, and improve their abilities. We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our development team and work alongside programmers to perform iterative testing and maintain the user experience across our VR, Mobile, and Web platforms.

In addition to our digital platforms, this person may also be required to assist with development of other products, as well as communicate objectives and progress to management and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within collaborative development teams, working on a variety of solutions.
  • Test and evaluate builds to ensure apps are working according to specifications and requirements
  • Create test plans from product specs
  • Analyze data
  • Raise questions and clarifications on vague requirements and functionality
  • Maintain and execute automated test scripts, keeping a continuous testing process
  • Reorganize and train colleagues on department standards for proper testing, best practices, and techniques

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional experience working on User Experience Testing and/or Manual Quality Assurance in Virtual Reality, Web, or Mobile platforms using JIRA and GitLab
  • Proficient understanding of End-to-End Testing, Software Test Methodologies/Procedures, and the overall Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Writing and Maintaining Test Cases
  • Strong technical knowledge of Software, Mobile (Android/iOS), and/or Gaming environments
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot devices (Break/Fix)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Nice to Have:

  • SQL or basic scripting proficiencies
  • API testing experience
  • Experience working on Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality applications
  • Baseball or Softball background
