Andy Trenier

Andy Trenier currently serves as the Residentiary Canon- Canon Precentor and Sacrist at Winchester Cathedral, a position held since September 2019, where responsibilities include managing large-scale events, overseeing the Cathedral's strategy for liturgy and music, and chairing the Organ Restoration program. Additionally, Andy has been the Rector of the Parish of Chingford, St Peter and St Paul with All Saints in Chelmsford Diocese since June 2015, while previously serving as a Minor Canon at the Diocese of Derby and gaining administrative experience in various roles within education and community development. Andy holds multiple degrees, including a BA in Theology from the University of Oxford and a CertHE in Theology and Contemporary Politics from King's College London, alongside a diverse background in managing community initiatives, fundraising, and inter-agency collaboration.
