Joel Lanzil Dsouza

Joel Lanzil Dsouza has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Joel Lanzil started their career as an Operations Intern at Gulf Metal Foundry (L.L.C.) in 2014, where they focused on reducing energy consumption and improving quality management systems. In 2016, they worked as a Continuous Process Improvement Intern at Emerson Fisher FZE, where they implemented lean manufacturing tools and techniques to optimize manufacturing processes. In 2017, they served as a Sales Executive Intern at Maestro Oil & Gas (MOGAS), where they developed client relationships, managed logistics, and negotiated contracts. In 2018, they were a Maintenance Best Practices Intern at Rich Products Corporation, where they implemented an apprenticeship program and conducted statistical analysis to improve facility performance. Joel Lanzil'smost recent position is with Wind River Environmental, where they started as an Operations Engineering Intern in 2019 and has since been promoted to Senior Operations Engineer and Supervisor. In this role, they have been responsible for developing and executing key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, and modeling facility layouts.

Joel Lanzil Dsouza completed their Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Honors from Birla Institute Of Technology and Science, Pilani Dubai from 2012 to 2016. Joel Lanzil completed their secondary education in science at The Indian High School from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Joel has also obtained certifications such as the Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in October 2018, and the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in October 2017.
