Kai Marshland

Kai Marshland has a long and varied work experience. In 2019, they co-founded and became the Chief Product Officer of WindBorne Systems, a company focused on weather prediction. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at the Stanford Student Space Initiative in various roles, including Lead Mission Control Developer, Co-President, and Operations Lead. In 2018, they were a Flight Software Intern at SpaceX. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Software Developer at LeoLabs, Inc. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Developer at POWr.io. In 2013, they were a Software Developer Intern at Carrotmob.

Kai Marshland attended Stanford University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Kai then returned to Stanford University in 2021, where they earned a Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering.
