Ashley Tibett's practice focuses on transactional and construction-related matters.
Her work involves drafting and negotiating a variety of business agreements, such as: supply, licensing, non-compete, employment, consulting and employee compensation agreements (including warrant/stock option plans). She also has experience in financing transactions and corporate governance matters. In addition, she participates in settlement negotiations and drafting of related agreements, including employment-related matters.
In a construction context, Ashley has experience in drafting subcontract, indemnification and settlement agreements.
In an M&A context, her experience includes business divorces, sell- and buy-side transactions, due diligence and the drafting and negotiation of deal documents.
Prior to Windels Marx, Ashley practiced in the Ronkonkoma office of a Long Island-based law firm. In addition, she was a Judicial Intern for Administrative Judge Neile F. Eisner in the Hearings Unit of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She possesses unique insights into energy and environmental matters as a result of her work with Eversource Energy, where she was a Law Clerk, and Alternatives for Community and Environment, where she was a Student Attorney.
